Our first objective being the composition of an easy to read informative piece, which means carrying out adequate research and gathering quality information, be that tips, tricks, hard facts or just informed opinions...either Way, value is top of my list when thinking of what to provide for the reader(s).
If you are writing articles in say.... the acne niche, you would do well to gather ALL the information possible on causes, prevention, creams, lotions, alternative solutions, quick fixes, long term actions to take for prevention...but also on the flip side of this you have to think that the person reading will have feelings, thoughts, insecurities and also an urgency about their problem. That urgency could range from not very to absolutely buy now solution required. Either way you should be preparing for the possibility of both.
Here are 4 tips to boost your creative mind when writing articles:Don't ignore your statsIf people are finding your site right now, then you would do well to garner that information and use it for future content.. you know it gets searched, you know it is hot in your niche and you can easily work around it because it stems from what you have already.
Think questionsOne sure fire way to appeal to your target audience is to answer their questions. If you currently have a list then survey them, survey your current list to find their questions, answer those questions in your articles which leads to more traffic and a bigger list.. A tidy circle that you can rinse and repeat for fresh traffic.
Remember your productsProducts are always good to write about and product name keywords are very easy to write for and target, it is what would be considered as low hanging fruit.. low competition and very targeted search terms come from your product(s).. and then recylce this option when you see the actual traffic that comes as a result.
Forum researchNiche forums are often jam packed with questions, thoughts, tips and ideas.. so garner information from the people in your niche so that your articles will be well targeted to what they want and need.. dieting forums contain some of the best information for the dieting niche, the same can be said in most niches.. your target market are most comfortable chatting around forums, so use that to your benefit to find what they want and what you can write about to catch their attention.
Just sayin'
