Increase online traffic to your website by mastering the fundamentals that increase the relevance of your content to your site visitors.
Doing this effectively means you are seamlessly providing the most efficient experience for your visitors which results in a more pleasant experience for them. Here is the article from Wiki:

Online, it is essential to know how to make sure your web site is receiving traffic from the visitors the site was originally created for.
Without knowing how to drive consistent, targeted traffic to a website, the site, individual, organization and message is as good as non-existent. For this reason, it is important to know how to increase online traffic.

#'''Perform thorough research''' before you choose the domain name for the site's address in order to obtain important data on the number of monthly searches for the keywords related to the topic of the web site.

#'''Choose your domain name wisely''' as you will receive more optimal placement in the search engine index by naming the domain the most relevant and searched for keyword phrase. This will also make sure your site will be searched for already before you submit it to the search engines.

#'''Perform adequate "seo"''' or search engine optimization on the website such as optimizing the title tag which is the blue area above your webpage with the most searched for and relevant keywords and search phrases to ensure the optimal placement in search engine results.

#'''Name the title of your site in the title tag''' the same name as the domain which will be the most searched for keyword and make the site easier to rank for the search engine whose task it is to place it in the most relevant location in the index.

#'''Use the same searched for keywords''' in your title tag and domain in the first few words of the content appearing first on your homepage as this is the content used naturally by the search engines for your website description to appear in the search results to searchers who will visit your site.

#'''Submit your site''' to the most relevant and searched for directories to ensure that the very people most interested and likely to visit your site find your site when searching in the most highly visited directories.

#'''Participate in established online communities''' dedicated to discussing the topic for which the site is most relevant to ensure natural search engine traffic that is targeted.

#''Submit your site''' to the appropriate and most relevant social networks for discussion and obtain links from other webmasters who find your content useful and recommend your link as a resource for other web site owners.

*Host online contests rewarding people for spreading the word about your website and driving targeted traffic.

*Contribute quality and useful information to online communities.

*Submit regular quality articles to online article directories for publishing.

*Contribute quality articles to magazines for publication.

*Make your rss feed available for subscribers to receive updates on all future content published on your web site to bring back repeat, targeted web site traffic to your website.

*Purchase targeted and relevant advertising from search engines as sponsored listings for immediate online traffic for people searching for your topic online...
