You were able to build up some traffic and it’s coming in steady now. You have about 100 visitors and you receive a couple of orders from those visitors; keeping your conversion rate high. Maybe you’re only getting 100 a week, or a month, but it’s still not good enough. The problem is you want to increase traffic even more - like the experts do.
How do you build traffic like the experts?

1. Well, first you must think like an expert! Experts got to be experts by trial and error, and this is how you should think as well. Trying many sources of traffic to find out what works best for your site is a great method.

2. Track your progress like the experts! Google analytics is a great way to track how your different sources of traffic are performing. If you have a high conversion rate with some sources and a low conversion with others then you obviously want to use the high conversion traffic sources more. It’s important to analyze each source individually.
What sources do the experts use?

1.  Classified ezine advertising:   You can control when your ad goes out and can test the effectiveness of each advertisement. It is possible that some ezines will be unproductive which is what the trial and error process is all about.

2.  Pay-per-click campaigns. Traffic can be generated very quickly, but lots of money can be lost if not managed properly.

3.  Article submissions:  Very inexpensive and a great source of highly targeted traffic.   It takes time to build up the traffic, and time to write the articles but it is definitely well worth it.

4. Cross promotions: Cross promoting by offering a product or lead generating offer to your mailing list of customers and subscribers from someone with a complementary offer while they offer the same to their list on your behalf, can be a great way to really supercharge your business growth with more high quality subscribers and customers.

These sources of traffic are what are most used by the experts. You must be willing to put in the time and the effort if you want to get traffic like them.  Smiley

For me article submissions worked out a lot. How ever PPC provides more traffic compared to remaining three processes.
